| The Instructors of the ski school of Vigo di Fassa
The ski instructor specializes in teaching the ski techniques of cross-country, downhill, touring, acrobatic, snowboarding, telemark and similar to individuals or groups of people on ski slopes. Ski routes and off-slope excursions are proposed, which do not involve difficulties and do not require a particular alpine outfit or techniques. Our ski instructors enjoy bringing their love of nature to our guests by taking them closer to the natural alpine environment.
Carving
To learn the so called “binary skiing”, carving is proposed from our ski teachers in race-version, with the most modern skis, which are shorter, larger on the ends and narrower in the centre part, or also in extreme-version, called fun-carving, with very short and very shaped skis with a lift under the bindings and without using the ski poles.
Telemark
The style of skiing practiced by our grandfathers. Telemark skiing started in Norway towards the end of the 18th century. It consists of the gradual advancement of the external ski on the turn, with a kneeling, drawing back the internal ski which bears the largest part of the weight. In the last few years, telemark has been revived again in various ski schools, of course with more modern ski equipment.
Snowboard
A
winter sport especially popular in the young people. Lessons are offered
with our instructors in both hard and soft version.
Ski training
To become race champions, as our athlete Angelo Weiss, in the special- and giant slalom, we have excellent instructors, who will passionately teach you every agonistic secret.
Ski touring
To experience peaceful off-slope skiing, our ski instructors – alpine guides will bring you through beautiful hidden routes. Moreover, every week the ski school organizes snowshoe-excursions in the Ciampedie’s area.
