Skiing among the most beautiful mountains of the world in the Ski area Ciampedie

Ciampedie, a unique, wonderful panorama of the Fassa valley and the Dolomites. From its 2000 meters in the Catinaccio’s mountain chain, known also as Rosengarten “the rose’s garden” and for its breath-taking Vaiolet’s Towers, you can admire the Sassolungo, Sella, Marmolada mountain chains, Sasso Vernale, the top of the Costabella, Buffaure, Monzoni and Vallacia, and in the distance, Latemar’s-, Pale’s,- and Lagorai’s group.
The name Ciampedie, means “God’s field” and we really think this is a very appropriate name, because in Ciampedie, you feel like you are in paradise.

The ski area offers more than 13 Km of ski slopes. You can reach it by the Catinaccio’s cableway from Vigo di Fassa and by the two-seater chair-lift from Pera di Fassa. The ski area is perfect for families, with a big Kinder park run by our ski school, where children can really enjoy their vacation.
Amusing and demanding, is the Thoeni’s ski slope, (4,5 Km long) from Ciampedie to Vigo di Fassa, while the most experienced can test their skills on the black ski slope, dedicated to Alberto Tomba. The great ski champion has trained for many years in this area, for the enjoyment of passionate skiers and his fans.
